Egg burger

Ingredients: 

– 4 eggs 

– 4 round buns of your choice 

– 4 slices of cheese 

– 4 slices of tomato 

– 4 lettuce leaves 

– 1 red onion, sliced into rings 

– 4 slices of pickle 

– 4 tablespoons mayonnaise 

– 2 tablespoons ketchup 

– 100 grams of bacon bits 

– Salt and pepper to taste 

– Butter or oil for frying 

Preparation: 

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil them for 8-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Cool them under cold running water and peel them gently. 

2. In a separate pan, fry the bacon bits until crispy. Drain them on paper towels and set them aside. 

3. Slice the buns in half and lightly toast them in a pan or the oven. Place the slices of cheese on the bottom halves of the buns and set them aside to allow the cheese to melt. 

4. Mix the mayonnaise and ketchup in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper. 

5. Heat some butter or oil in a frying pan and lightly fry the peeled eggs on both sides until they turn a light golden brown. 

6. On each bun base, place a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, some onion rings, and a pickle slice. Then add the fried eggs and bacon bits. 

7. Drizzle the prepared sauce over the bacon and top with the other half of the bun. 

Serve the delicious egg burgers with bacon immediately, and feel free to add extra vegetables or sauce if desired.
