Chocolate muffins with red fruit
Ingredients (for 12 muffins):
- 9 oz dark brown sugar
- 9 oz flour
- 2 oz cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 9 oz milk
- 4 oz sunflower oil
- 1 chocolate bar (milk or dark)
- Red fruit of your choice
- Some powdered sugar
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Take a mixing bowl and add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix this well. In another mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, and sunflower oil. Mix this well and then add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix it together using a spatula.
Cut the chocolate bar into pieces, add it to the batter, and stir it in. Divide the muffin cups on a baking tray and fill each cup with batter. Bake them in the oven for 20 minutes and let them cool slightly when you take them out of the oven. Wash your chosen fruit and cut it into pieces if necessary. Divide it over the muffins and sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
