Delicious chicken soup
Ingredients:
– 200 grams of chicken breast (about 7 oz)
– 1 onion
– 150 grams of soup vegetables (about 5.3 oz)
– 1.2 liters of water (about 40 fl oz)
– 80 grams of carrots (about 2.8 oz)
– 40 grams of vermicelli (about 1.4 oz)
– 1 tablespoon of butter
– 1 bay leaf
– 2 chicken bouillon cubes
– 1 teaspoon of curry powder
Preparation:
1. Finely chop the onion. Heat the butter in a pot and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the curry powder, water, and chicken bouillon cubes, then bring the mixture to a boil.
2. Add the chicken breast and bay leaf to the pot and cook the chicken. Peel and chop the carrot into small pieces or make some carrot strips if you prefer. After 12 minutes, remove the chicken from the broth.
3. Add the soup vegetables and carrots to the broth and let the soup simmer on low heat. Shred the chicken breast into strips and return it to the soup.
4. Finally, add the vermicelli and cook for another 4 minutes. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
