3 Exercises to improve your posture 

Having the right posture is incredibly beneficial, as it helps prevent injuries and strengthens your body in various positions. Here are three exercises that can help improve your posture: 

1. Seated rotation 

Doing this exercise regularly can help you rotate more easily and reduce the risk of injury. 

– Sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor. 

– Cross your arms and place your hands on your shoulders, making sure you’re sitting up straight. 

– Keep your elbows at shoulder height and your legs still. 

– Rotate your torso to the right, then return to the center.   

– Repeat the movement by rotating to the left and back to the center. 

2. Wall angel 

This exercise stretches your chest muscles while building strength in your shoulders and upper back.  

– Stand with your back, buttocks, and head against a wall. 

– Stretch your arms above your head, with your palms facing forward. 

– As you raise your arms, squeeze your shoulder blades together. 

– Lower your arms down to shoulder height, keeping your elbows and back against the wall. 

 3. Plank to downward dog  

This exercise builds hand and wrist strength, as well as shoulder and core stability. 

– Start in a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders. 

– Lift your hips and push your chest toward your legs, transitioning into the downward dog position. 

– Keep your knees slightly bent and hold the pose for a few seconds. 

– Lower back down to the plank position and repeat. 

By incorporating these exercises into your routine, you can strengthen your body and maintain better posture throughout the day!
